A group of eighty international students representing four universities in Dalian, Liaoning province, engaged in a social practice and cultural immersion activity recently, immersing themselves in the vibrant historical and cultural legacy of the city.
Discovering Cultural Gems
During their excursion, the students had the opportunity to visit key landmarks such as the Dalian City Planning Exhibition Center and Sanshiqixiang, a cultural hub in Xigang district. They also took a memorable ride on the distinctive No 201 tram line, experiencing the city’s charm firsthand.
Organizational Partnerships
The event was coordinated by the China Scholarship Council, a non-profit organization under the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the publicity department of the Dalian Committee of the Communist Party of China, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, as well as Dalian’s Bureau of Culture and Tourism and Bureau of Natural Resources.

Since its inception in 2016, the ”Perceive China — Dalian Journey” initiative has brought together a total of over 600 international students.
