Air China to Introduce Direct Flights to Georgia in September

Air China is set to launch direct flights between China and Georgia starting in September. The airline ‌has been ⁤in discussions with the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency to kick‍ off the Tbilisi-Ürümqi route, offering three ​weekly⁤ flights.

Currently, China ⁤Southern ⁤Airlines is the primary carrier for passenger flights, ⁢having transported nearly 20,000 passengers in the past six months‌ alone. The demand for travel between China and Georgia has been steadily increasing, with a significant surge in visitors from China to Georgia.
