He attended Gindiri Blind Secondary School in Plateau State, graduating in⁢ 1979. Subsequently, ‍he ‍pursued his studies ⁢at Tudun Maliki School for the ⁢Special Needs in Kano.

Academic Achievements
In 1994, Professor​ Diso joined the Department of Special Education at Bayero ⁤University. A ‌significant milestone in his academic career was achieved in 2019 ‍when he made history as Nigeria’s first ⁣visually impaired​ Professor. Prior to this groundbreaking feat, he obtained his PhD in Special Education from the University of Birmingham, London, in 1991, showcasing his dedication to scholarly pursuits.
