The Commissioner of Police Urges Abuja Residents to Avoid Participating in Nationwide Protest

As the planned nationwide protest against economic hardships‍ approaches, ‍Commissioner of Police for the FCT, Benneth Igweh, is urging residents of Abuja to refrain from ‌joining in. This appeal comes‌ as a measure to protect the new ⁤infrastructure recently implemented by the FCT administration and President Bola Tinubu.

During a statement on Monday, Igweh also addressed the arrest of the mastermind behind the armed robbery incident ⁤that resulted in ⁢the‌ death of⁤ retired Brigadier General ⁣Uwen Harold Udokwerre on June 22, 2024.
