Despite facing police ⁢crackdowns‍ and overnight‌ raids on the homes⁢ of PTI members,⁢ the ‍protesters remained resilient. ‌In Lahore alone, police conducted⁣ numerous ‌raids at more than 50 locations, leading to the detention of around 90⁤ individuals affiliated with PTI just a ⁣day before the scheduled protest. The residence of PTI Lahore ‌President, Chaudhry Asghar‍ Gujjar in Karim Park, was also raided, although Asghar managed to evade arrest as he ‌was not present during the operation. In an interview with The ⁢Nation, PTI Lahore president commended the people of Lahore for ‍actively participating in the protest despite the ⁢adversities. Bukhari criticized PTI, stating that the party’s history ⁢is marred by disruptive activities on roads and squares. ‍She alleged that creating unrest in the country seemed to be PTI’s primary goal, claiming that the party’s leader⁢ aimed to seize power through disruptive tactics. Bukhari also praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for⁣ her dedication to public welfare, ⁤contrasting it with what she described as hollow⁢ promises and slogans that the ⁢people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had been subjected to for over a decade.
