New Winter Travel Options: Delta’s Expanded Flight ⁣Services to Mexico

As ⁤winter​ approaches,‌ Delta Airlines is introducing new routes to ⁤Mexico, providing travelers⁣ with⁤ more options than ever before.⁤ This expansion includes flights‌ from Detroit to Tulum and Los Angeles to Mazatlán, as well as Aeromexico’s new routes‍ from Atlanta‌ to Manzanillo, Newark to Mexico City, and Denver to Monterrey. ​Together, these⁣ additions will increase seat capacity by 7%, offering passengers‍ a wider selection⁢ of destinations to explore.

Delta’s inaugural flights from Detroit to ⁢Tulum will⁤ begin on January ‍11, opening up ⁢a new ⁤gateway to‌ this popular destination known for its stunning beaches, ancient ⁤ruins, and vibrant‌ culture. Joe Esposito, Delta’s Senior VP of Network Planning, expressed the increasing⁢ demand for travel, especially to Mexico,‌ prompting ​the airline to expand its services. With ⁢four new destinations in Mexico this‍ year, Delta aims to satisfy customers⁣ eager to experience Latin America’s rich cultural heritage.

In addition to ‌Tulum,⁣ Delta will operate up to 50⁤ weekly ‍flights from Detroit to various Mexican cities, including Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico City, and Puerto Vallarta. The ⁣airline plans ⁤to offer 10⁣ weekly flights to Tulum, with four flights on Saturdays alone, catering to both⁢ leisure⁢ and adventure travelers seeking a mix of relaxation‍ and exploration.

Furthermore, ‌starting on December 21, Delta ⁤will launch flights from Los Angeles ​to Mazatlán, increasing its capacity ⁤from LAX to Mexico by 13%. Mazatlán, known for its​ scenic Malecón, historic sites, and beautiful beaches, offers⁢ a‌ diverse array of cultural​ and recreational activities for visitors to enjoy. This new route will add to Delta’s extensive international network from LAX, with Mazatlán ⁢becoming⁤ the ⁣20th⁢ international destination⁢ from this hub.
