During a discussion⁢ on “Activities for Sustainable Urban Development in Hyderabad Metro City” at the Assembly, the Chief Minister ⁤shared plans for various development projects. This⁤ includes​ the establishment of a new Osmania General Hospital by replacing the old police quarters at Goshamahal while preserving the ⁣historical buildings of the current hospital premises. Additionally, he emphasized on launching the ⁢Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRA) to combat illegal encroachments around Hyderabad. The government also aims to revamp house numbering systems and initiate an extensive development strategy for Hyderabad.

To protect water bodies like lakes and canals in Hyderabad’s vicinity, proposals totaling Rs.6,000 crore have been ⁤put forward to seek financial assistance from the central‍ government.
