The “VIRAASAT,” known⁣ as the ⁤”Exclusive Handloom Expo,” is a part ‌of this year’s celebrations for National Handloom Day scheduled for 7th August. ​The primary ⁤objective of this event is to showcase India’s rich heritage in handlooms and⁣ handicrafts ‌while providing a platform for⁤ weavers and ​artisans to connect​ with potential markets.

From 11 am to 8 pm daily, visitors have access​ to a wide ⁢range of handloom products from various regions across India displayed at⁢ over 75 stalls. Among ‍these attractions are theme-based exhibits featuring traditional Indian handlooms, workshops on⁢ natural dye techniques, live demonstrations on loom ⁤weaving,​ folk performances, and ⁢delicious regional cuisines.

In his recent address during episode 112 of ⁤”Mann ki Baat,” Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged the remarkable work ⁤done by handloom artisans and emphasized ‍their significant contributions.
