Following a five-month vacancy, Helena Reitberger has assumed the role of Sweden’s new representative to Taiwan, expressing her aspirations for advancing bilateral cooperation in diverse areas such as AI, technology, education, and healthcare.
Prior to Reitberger taking office, Anders Wollter served as the representative before returning to Sweden after a brief year-long stint in Taipei. Bengt Carlsson also held the position from 2020 to 2022; however, his time in Taiwan was cut short due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Swedish Trade and Invest Council recently welcomed Reitberger back to Taiwan through their official Facebook page “Sweden in Taiwan.”
