The event took place during the Beijing Summit of the Forum‍ on China-Africa Cooperation – China-Africa-UNESCO ‍Dialogue in Education and Cultural ⁣Heritage Protection. MAKWITI shared the podium ‍with international students from Ghana, Rwanda,⁢ and Côte d’Ivoire who also excelled in their respective fields. These talented individuals represent⁤ nine‌ vocational colleges in China, including⁤ Shenzhen Polytechnic University, Jinhua University of Vocational Technology, and ⁢NBPT.

Rigorous Training Program for Mechatronics Professionals

MAKWITI and​ his peers embarked on this journey at NBPT approximately one year and a half ago after undergoing ‍a strict selection process.‍ They underwent intense ‍training courses that covered various aspects of mechatronics such‍ as basic drawing, theoretical‌ calculations, mechanical ⁣design, parts processing, assembly work, electrical wiring, programming skills development,
and final product‌ inspection. This comprehensive “1+1.5+0.5” program ‌was specifically designed to ⁤equip them ‌with​ the necessary ‍skills ​to ‍excel as highly skilled mechatronics professionals through ⁣collaborative training efforts between China and Zimbabwe.
