Prince Harry’s Charitable Work in Southern Africa
Recently, Prince Harry has been devoting much of his time to charitable work, making trips to New York City and London for various events. However, it appears that the Duke of Sussex has more plans in store for a visit to Lesotho and South Africa in early October through his charity Sentebale.
The co-founder of Sentebale, Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, expressed excitement about Prince Harry’s upcoming visit. He affectionately referred to him by his Sesotho royal name “Mohale,” meaning ‘warrior.’ Sentebale, which means ”forget me not,” is devoted to helping young people in Lesotho and Botswana so that no child is left behind.
During the visit, Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso will showcase programs with the aim of gaining support from philanthropists and corporate foundations. They will also immerse themselves in on-the-ground programs in Lesotho before traveling to Johannesburg, South Africa.

It’s important highlighting that Meghan Markle will not be accompanying him for this visit even though she accompanied him on a tour of Southern Africa back in 2019 when they visited Nigeria earlier this year together. During his recent trip for UN Climate Week Last week he took time out met Queen Masenate Mohato Seeiso during an event meeting her he praised her country saying “The beautiful mountain kingdom feels like a home away from home.”
