Jaipur, ‌Rajasthan, July 19 – In a bid⁢ to⁢ empower ​and uplift women entrepreneurs nationwide, the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises has‌ rolled out a new initiative known as ‘Yashaswini’ under the ‘Empower ‌Her Udan’ campaign.​ The launch of this initiative took place⁢ on​ July 18, with the first phase set to kick off in Jaipur on ‍July 19.

Ankita Pandey, the Director of MSME, revealed that approximately 600 women entrepreneurs from the state‍ will⁣ be taking part in the event held at the Rajasthan International Centre. The primary‌ goal of​ this initiative is to provide formal education to women engaged in commercial enterprises while also engaging⁣ them with‌ the various MSME schemes available to them.

According ⁣to Pandey, ⁤women entrepreneurs can visit different stalls at the center to access resources aimed at enhancing their skills ⁤in enterprise management. These resources cover⁢ areas​ such ⁣as training, ‌capacity building, capital utilization, market​ access, product development,‍ and digital marketing strategies.

Furthermore, Pandey emphasized that the ‘Yashaswini’ initiative is​ not a one-time event but rather a‌ continuous process. Workshops will be conducted at local MSME organizations to provide ongoing training and support for the development of women entrepreneurs in the region.

The event in Jaipur will see the participation of⁤ prominent figures such as Union Minister for MSME Jitan Ram⁣ Manjhi, Union Minister​ of State for MSME Sobha Karandlaje, Chief Minister of ⁣Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma, and State‍ Cabinet Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. This collaborative effort underscores the⁢ government’s commitment to fostering women’s entrepreneurial growth ​and ​success in the​ country.
