Additionally, ⁤in a separate initiative geared towards efficiently managing the metro ⁤project’s progress,Malaysian firm HSS Engineering⁢ in collaboration ​with​ Consultant HSS from‍ UAE has recently been awarded a contract to provide project⁤ management and supervision services through a joint venture agreement.

With ⁣completion scheduled for ⁢May 2029,the estimated cost of implementing this extensive transport network is projected at ⁢US$17·5 billion. The realization of this mega-project underscores Iraq’s commitment towards modernization and sustainable urban development.
