The project, with ​an investment totaling⁣ 270 million yuan⁣ ($37.8 million), marks the second phase of ‌the⁢ Runbang Damei Automotive ⁣Supply Chain Industrial Park. ⁢A groundbreaking ceremony was held ​on July 31 at the​ China-Germany Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park in ‍Shenyang to mark the beginning of construction.

Spanning across an area of 80,000 square meters, the project is ⁣set to feature a total planned floor area of 49,000 square meters upon completion. The expanded supply center ⁣will provide comprehensive services related to pre-production, post-production, and export of auto parts as ‍stated by a manager‍ at Runbang Damei Logistics.

Upon‌ its completion, this new facility will facilitate various activities such as processing, warehousing, and logistics support for automotive products. This​ will include ‍handling tasks like receiving and​ sending auto parts, processing them efficiently with ‍packaging and⁢ warehousing ⁢solutions ⁢included. Additionally, it will ​cater ⁢to transportation ​needs while ⁢ensuring comprehensive logistics information‌ services are readily‌ available.

Inaugurated back in 2020 was the first phase of this supply ⁢center which has already been operating successfully by providing crucial services for BMW’s production operations. This​ initiative has significantly enhanced ​auto ⁣parts’ support capacity within the region ⁣leading to substantial growth within⁢ the local ‍economy.
